Nissan travel mug (2010-07-29) : 5/5
I have a cupboard full of "insulated" cups but the only one that is truly insulated is the Nissan Thermos. I purchased my first one around 2002, lost it in 2005 & immediately purchased another. I finally convinced my wife that she should try and now she is hooked too. She really loves the no leak feature because she's a klutz.
I drink my coffee black and hate it to be luke warm. With the Nissan cup I can spend 1 1/2 hours drinking 12 ounces of coffee and the last sip is still hot. With other cups I end up refilling to keep the coffee hot and will drink double that amount in the same time period. My doctor definitely endorses the Nissan cup because he's been after me for years to cut back on the coffee!
Best mug ever! (2010-07-29) : 5/5
This has to be the best Travel coffee mug out there! My husband and I searched high and low for high-quality mugs for our daily commutes and workdays... First, we ordered just 1 to try it out... After about 2 days, we realized this is the best mug ever! Hot, hot, hot coffee for hours and hours... no leaks, and sturdy construction. We have since ordered our second mug.. and yes, that does mean about $50 worth of coffee mugs. But hey, isn't your morning commute worth a hot, non-spilled cup of coffee? We decided it was time to quit buying cheap-o mugs that leak and don't insulate, and splurge on something built to last.
Awesome Mug! (2010-07-27) : 5/5
After wading through all kinds of different mugs that can't keep coffee hot, I found this one. My brother and I both have one and love them. They will indeed keep coffee hot for an hour. I also use it to keep water, iced coffee, juice, etc. cold, which if anything lasts even longer.
This mug contains space between the walls that is vacuum sealed to eliminate temperature change. It works very well and if you want something to transport your drink in you'll find none better.
I will warn that the amount of liquid coming out depends on how much you unscrew the lid (should make sense). Once I wasn't getting much out so I unscrewed it another turn and to my shock the coffee flooded out, severely burning my mouth... I was not expecting such a drastic difference. Needless to say, I'm a little more careful now, but it doesn't hurt to mention it.
Thermos-14 oz (2010-07-23) : 3/5
This is a pretty very nice mug, however, it sometimes seems to leak around the top seam on the outside of the mug. I have had pop in it and sometimes when I take a drink, it drips on my shirt. Maybe when you have carbonated pop in the mug it might under pressure seep from inside to the outside seam and will leak through. For the price of this mug, I would have expected it to be of better quality. In it's description, it says Leak-Proof, however, mine is not Leak-Proof.
best travel mug I ever had (2010-07-21) : 5/5
I recently bought a few more of these and sent over 20 other styles and makes to the recycle bin. I have had one for several years and realized that this is the only travel mug to own. I can throw it in the car and take it to work, a meeting, fishing or the golf course and it looks and performs like no others. with the lid closed it will never leak. It also keeps beverages hot for several hours and cold for a long time as well. It is truly the best value and I would recommend them to everyone. I have bought them for my married children and their spouses as well. I can't say enoughgood things about this product.
