Best 3 dollars I've spent in a while! My nice black dress pants were nearly ruined by my idiot father. Rather than spend $40 on a new pair of pants I decided to try this first. I first dyed my pants and while I was rinsing them out I put a few other small pieces in the dye. Everything turned out fantastic! But, fyi it took a while to get the rinse water to run clear. Im not surprised about this tho. Also, the dye has a faint chemically/florally scent. Its not overpowering or horrible but I did not like it. I dyed everything in a bucket in my bathtub and did not have any troubles at all. The directions were straightforward, but if you have any questions visit the Rit website.

well, it's black, it makes your clothes darker than they were. it was in the original packaging,and with shipping it ended up being about 1 cent less than if i bought it in the store.

I bought a black jacket at Singapore about two years ago and due to wear and tear of daily usage, the black became gray with dirty white spots. As I have experience in dyeing, I searched for black dye until I found this Rit Dye Black Powder and, WOW I have a Black Beauty.
